01 / The challenge

A new presence.
An important decision.

Columbus LASIK Vision approached Pix-l Graphx in February 2019 with a new clinic website to build. SEO began the following month. The practice needed to compete for attention in a market where prospective patients compare procedures, providers, locations, and costs before contacting a clinic.

The task was broader than ranking for “LASIK.” Someone exploring treatment options needs a useful explanation. Someone searching for a clinic in Philadelphia needs local relevance. Someone ready to talk needs a clear way to reach the practice.

Make discovery, understanding, and contact work together.

We connected the website’s structure and content with the practice’s local profiles, then developed the pages and inquiry routes that supported each stage.

02 / The work behind the visibility

A complete LASIK SEO strategy.
Built around the patient journey.

The launch-stage campaign established the search foundation. The broader engagement expanded the content library, optimized local profiles, improved mobile usability, and added a self-test to support lead generation.

01

Research the patient’s search journey

We studied competing clinics and grouped keywords by procedure, location, cost, and research intent. That gave each important search a suitable destination, rather than asking the homepage to rank for everything.

02

Build procedure and location landing pages

We prepared and optimized landing-page content, clarified the site structure, and connected related pages. Procedure pages explained the service; location pages connected that information to the areas the practice served.

03

Optimize every local profile

The historical campaign covered four Google My Business profiles, now called Google Business Profiles. We optimized profile descriptions and business information, aligned them with the website, and developed the practice’s presence across relevant local listings.

04

Create an extensive educational library

Across the broader engagement, we added hundreds of quality blog posts and supporting content. The goal was to answer the questions people bring to a LASIK decision and connect useful explanations with the relevant service and consultation pages.

05

Improve the mobile experience and technical foundation

Technical audits informed work on crawlability, page errors, navigation, and mobile usability. We worked on making landing pages easier to use, helping visitors move from an initial search to the information and contact options they needed.

06

Develop relevant links and local consistency

Competitor backlink research helped identify relevant directory and link opportunities. Listings such as Google Maps, Yelp, and Facebook supported a more consistent business presence alongside the website’s growing content.

07

Add a lower-friction route to an inquiry

We added a LASIK self-test alongside consultation and contact options. It gave interested visitors a structured way to share their needs and request a conversation. The self-test was an inquiry tool; clinical eligibility requires an assessment by the practice.

08

Measure visibility and contact activity together

We reviewed keyword positions, Search Console performance, and local-profile actions. Looking at discovery and inquiries together helped keep the work connected to the practice’s goals, with ongoing optimization informed by performance.

The archived publication documents the launch-stage strategy and results. The expanded content volume, mobile work, and self-test are additional engagement details supplied by campaign lead Peeyush Dubey.

03 / Search visibility

More first-page presence.
More opportunities to be found.

The published story reports a move from a new site with no first-page presence to 444 top-ten keywords after 15 months. The archived ranking report provides the distribution behind that headline.

04 / Beyond the ranking report

Turn local discovery

The publication reports 300+ monthly leads from local profiles and website forms. The channels below explain the reported total without treating every action as a new patient.

LOCAL PROFILES200

Reported monthly leads

The article describes four profiles receiving 150+ direct calls each per quarter, summarized as 200 monthly leads across those profiles.

WEBSITE FORMS100+

Reported monthly leads

Contact forms gave website visitors a route to request more information after exploring the practice and its services.

These are historical, reported inquiries and profile actions. The supplied materials do not establish deduplicated leads, booked consultations, completed procedures, or revenue.

05 / Content with a next step

Answer the question.
Make contact easier.

The broader content program included hundreds of blog posts, landing-page preparation and optimization, and a LASIK self-test. Together, these gave people more ways to learn about the practice and express interest when they were ready.

  1. LearnEducational articles introduce relevant questions and connect readers to deeper information.
  2. ExploreProcedure, area, pricing, and financing pages help visitors understand the offer and their next step.
  3. InquireThe self-test and consultation routes let interested visitors request a conversation with the practice.

The current practice website still presents these types of content and inquiry paths. This review illustrates the approach; the archive does not quantify the self-test’s individual conversion impact.

The archive was captured in May 2024; that is not the campaign’s result date. Screenshot reporting windows are identified separately above. Broader engagement details were supplied by Peeyush, and the current website was reviewed in October 2026.
